Esports Charts data found that the Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore championship got more than 5.4 million spectators.

After missing various challenges, the Phoenix Force team from Thailand won the FFWS 2021 SG.

Especially for viewers from Indonesia, streaming FFWS 2021 SG (Play-Ins on 28 May 2021 and Finals on 30 May 2021) presented in Indonesian has been watched by more than 17 million views, with a record of more than 1 million viewers watching simultaneously (peak concurrent viewers) by Indonesian Free Fire fans.

The two videos that were shown also managed to reach trending number #1 for the Gaming category on YouTube Indonesia, and the third position for the most viewers from 14 other translated languages.

Christian Wihananto, Producer of Garena Free Fire Indonesia said, “FFWS 2021 SG is here as an event to test the skills of the best teams from around the world. This is in line with Garena’s commitment to present various esports tournaments as a forum for competition and premium shows for the Survivor community wherever they are. We are very grateful for the enthusiasm of Free Fire fans from Indonesia who are tireless in contributing to support the EVOS Divine and First Raiders teams, from their respective homes. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the audience from Indonesia for FFWS 2021 SG. We hope that the presence of this global Free Fire competition can unite a community of passionate Indonesian gamers wherever they are, as well as inspire new potential talents in the esports world..”

FFWS 2021 SG brings together 18 teams from 11 regions in Singapore for a total cash prize of US$ 2,000,000 (equivalent to Rp. 28 billion), which is the largest prize in the Free Fire competition so far. The point acquisition system is based on rank and number of kills.

Phoenix Force from Thailand won the FFWS 2021 title and took home US$500,000 (equivalent to Rp. 7 billion) as a prize, after dominating in the final round by getting 4 Booyah, 48 kills, and 113 points.

This Phoenix Force victory also marked the success of the team from Thailand in winning the world champion title for the first time in the history of the Free Fire tournament.

TheCruz from the Phoenix Force team was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title after presenting a consistent performance during FFWS 2021 SG, with a very brilliant score of 23 kills. Phoenix Force managed to lead away with a difference of 36 points from runner-up LOUD from Brazil who collected a total of 77 points.

Although they have not been able to bring home the championship trophy this time, the Indonesian team’s game and effort deserves thumbs up.

Christian also appreciates the struggle of the two teams from Indonesia, “We congratulate the Phoenix Force team from Thailand, they played really well. We are also proud of First Raiders and EVOS Divine who have fought for Indonesia and demonstrated the skills of the nation’s children in competing against the strongest Free Fire teams in the global arena. We as Free Fire developers are committed to always facilitating talent and continuing to support the esports ecosystem in Indonesia so that it continues to grow. Hopefully the efforts and hard work of First Raiders and EVOS Divine can inspire other Free Fire players who want to become esports athletes. Whatever happens, #FFINDOBERSATU!

When they were still in the FFML Season III Division 1 phase, the First Raiders had entered the Play-off round or did not make it to the regular season, but they showed their skills by bounce back and became the first place in the final standings of the Play-off round.

The head-to-head chase between First Raiders and EVOS Divine was also seen in the next phase, namely FFIM 2021 Spring, but in the end First Raiders managed to reach the number 2 position and qualify for the Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore with EVOS Divine.

One of the national teams, the First Raiders is a team that many people did not expect to make it to the Finals. First Raiders is one of the consistent entrants and continues to provide the best games since FFML Season III, FFIM 2021 Spring to FFWS 2021 SG. Even during the Play-ins round at FFWS 2021 SG, they managed to reach the number 1 position and enter the Finals with EVOS Divine. This is in line with Garena’s support for the development of Indonesia’s esports ecosystem in finding superior seeds for esports athletes. So that esports can develop into a competitive sport in Indonesia that makes the nation proud, as well as other sports such as badminton and football.. “closed Christian.
