The point acquisition system is based on rank and number of kills. Phoenix Force from Thailand won the FFWS 2021 title and took home US$500,000 (equivalent to Rp. 7 billion) as a prize, after dominating in the final round by getting 4 Booyah, 48 kills, and 113 points.

This Phoenix Force victory also marked the success of the team from Thailand in winning the world champion title for the first time in the history of the Free Fire tournament. TheCruz from the Phoenix Force team was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title after presenting a consistent performance during FFWS 2021 SG, with a very brilliant score of 23 kills. Although they have not been able to bring home the championship trophy this time, the Indonesian team’s game and effort deserves thumbs up. Christian also appreciated the struggle of the two teams from Indonesia, “We congratulate the Phoenix Force team from Thailand, they played really well. Hopefully the efforts and hard work of First Raiders and EVOS Divine can inspire other Free Fire players who want to become esports athletes. Whatever happens, #FFINDOBERSATU!”

When they were still in the FFML Season III Division 1 phase, the First Raiders had entered the Play-off round or did not make it to the regular season, but they showed their skills by bounce back and became the first place in the final standings of the Play-off round. The head-to-head chase between First Raiders and EVOS Divine was also seen in the next phase, namely FFIM 2021 Spring, but in the end First Raiders managed to reach the number 2 position and qualify for FFWS 2021 SG with EVOS Divine.

“One of the national teams, the First Raiders is a team that many people didn’t expect would make it to the Finals. First Raiders is one of the consistent entrants and continues to provide the best games since FFML Season III, FFIM 2021 Spring to FFWS 2021 SG. Even during the Play-ins round at FFWS 2021 SG, they managed to reach the number 1 position and enter the Finals with EVOS Divine. This is in line with Garena’s support for the development of the Indonesian esports ecosystem in finding superior seeds for esports athletes. So that esports can develop into a competitive sport in Indonesia that makes the nation proud, as well as other sports such as badminton and football.” close Christian.
