Netflix has just announced the official release times and some stills for the second season of the Locke and Key series.
Netflix announced the official release date for the second series of Locke and Key. The news was shared via Netflix’s Geeked video series, which previously shared footage for Lupine’s second season.
Locke and Key 2 will air on the platform streaming it will be around October 2021, but the exact date has not been announced. The second season will see the Locke family face the fact that they were conned and put Ellie into the void behind Omega’s door. And Eden seems to be controlled by the devil in this new season.
To note, this series is an adaptation of the popular fantasy comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. Netflix’s version of Locke and Key follows the Locke family – Kinsey (Emilia Jones), Tyler (Connor), Bode (Jackson Robert Scott), and Nina (Darby Stanchfield) who move into their ancestral home in Massachusetts.
The decision to move into the palace-like home comes after the horrific tragedy of their father’s murder. As time goes by, the family begins to discover strange things in the house, namely keys that can give various powers and abilities.
Long story short, they must collect keys for a purpose. But in reality, there is a cunning demon who also wants the keys. Bode and family must avoid the demon so that the key is not misused.
In addition to announcing the release date, Netflix also shared some stills from the series’ second season.
