In a recent report, an overclocker named Yosarianilives is said to be able to pull the AMD Ryzen 3 5300G APU speed to 5.6GHz.
Who doesn’t know AMD’s APUs? Yes, this processor is a processor that is quite popular among gamers with a limited budget or gamers who are still saving money to buy a capable GPU.
This processor also has similarities with other Ryzen series processors, namely it has the ability to overclock. And who would have thought, it turned out to be a overclocker managed to pull the Ryzen 3 5300G at speeds over 5GHz.
The overclocker who managed to do this was named Yosarianilives. He said that he managed to bring clock speed Ryzen 3 5300G to 5.6GHz. Unfortunately, he did not give a leak what type of cooler he uses to achieve this speed.
Even more interesting, Tom’s Hardware (8/6) said that he did not test synthetic benchmarks or games using the processor. Though, the expected yield for this CPU will be quite high.
As for doing overclock this, he uses motherboard Asus ROG Strix B550-I. The RAM uses 16GB DDR4 RAM running at 4600MHz with timing settings of 16-16-16-38.
This proves that to get the highest performance, users don’t need to buy a high-end CPU. With a little will, ability, and the right tools, we can get the best performance out of a CPU at an affordable price.
