In terms of the product itself, the foldable Google Pixel is indeed rumored to have a 7.6-inch folding screen, according to reports that have circulated so far. Then Vivo also carries a larger 8-inch panel that can be folded. This device will reportedly have an aspect ratio of 10.2:9 square.

This panel will be made on the A3 line at Samsung’s Asan factory. This model will also feature a 6.5” external display made by BOE at the B7 factory. Then for Xiaomi itself there is no definite information about its smart folding device, but Samsung is clear in this report that it will make a foldable panel specifically for the giant Chinese mobile phone manufacturer.

Not only the three brands, Oppo is also slated to release a foldable phone using Samsung panels, but the launch has reportedly been delayed until 2022.

The phone will have a clamshell design with a 7.1-inch LTPO panel inside as well as a small 1.5-2-inch external display. Previous rumors have also mentioned an 8-inch model as well, but it’s not clear yet.

The foldable phone market in 2021 was previously predicted to be crowded and could be one of the common features that will be present this year.
